Thank you for this wonderful explanation about the magic of the panoramic cameras and the photographic results. Love your attached to the article images.

I use Horizon 202, which is amazing, even add some distortion to the photographed scenes, but sometimes the distortions are working well for the wide view sharp reality :-)

A really interesting article Eddy, we discussed it briefly when we met and I have been thinking about panoramic photography a lot more since. This type of photography lends its self as you said to conflict and humanitarian photography as it gives the viewer the environmental perspective and allows them to be slightly more immersed into the scene. Food for thought and I will certainly check out the 3 links provided.
